This isn’t going to say that I rebounded from yesterdays bout with writers block (I have not).  This is about my utter disappointment with LOST in its final season.  Thus far I think it is full of fail and the explanations being offered are only half-assed, i.e. the numbers representing individuals on the show.

Perhaps it is known that the fan base is what it is and with this being the last season, ratings will be what the are regardless if they explain the island to be a prequel to “Happy Days” or not.  Personally, even with my current unhappiness with the show, I will certainly see it through to the end, poor plot lines and all, since I have for so long waited for that epic, monumental “AH HA!” moment.  Though with each passing episode, I believe that the show already climaxed with time travel; sex with a condom since barely any sensation was felt during that orgasm.  I just hope the writers have some remnants of self dignity and they try a bit harder to make the show something that isn’t remembered as what could have been.
